Attendance Policy Updates & Termly Pizza Parties (TAPP)
Medical appointments require office confirmation. Optician appointments will no longer be authorised from September as these can usually be arranged outside school hours. Launching Termly Attendance Pizza Parties (TAPP): pupils with 98%+ attendance will enjoy a pizza party and enter a raffle for a £50 Amazon voucher.
P.T.F.A Pre-Loved School Uniform
High-quality pre-loved school uniform items available via the PTFA Facebook page to save money and support the school community.
Y.D.P Summer Sports Camps & Free FSM Places
Summer sports and activity camps running at Warboys and Somersham (£25/day or £100/week). Fully funded free places available for benefit-related free school meal pupils.
Parent Forum Meeting Minutes – 11 June 2026

Reviewed communication channels with leadership. Action agreed to simplify key messages, improve cross-device consistency, and clarify usage between email and ClassDojo. Decisions regarding outdoor events (e.g. Sports Day) balance weather safety, staffing workload, and parent availability.
Playground Surfaces & Field Drainage Improvements
Ongoing discussions with leadership regarding school field drainage and playground surfaces. Academy leadership is exploring cost-effective maintenance and surface improvement options for the upcoming municipal year.
Curriculum Celebrations & Enrichment Highlights
Celebrated success of Spanish Tasting Day, visiting theatre production company, and popular pupil Book Exchange / Book Club. High positive feedback from children across key stages.
Online Safety & Social Media Age Guidance (13+)
Addressed concerns regarding under-age access to social media platforms. Reminded families that platforms require users to be 13+. School is reinforcing online safety guidance alongside parental oversight.
PTFA Flexible Event Volunteering Model
To relieve pressure on committee members, PTFA is transitioning toward flexible event-by-event parent volunteering rather than full committee membership. Encouraging early parent involvement at new intake meetings.
